Not bad, eh? I can't believe I was that close to 600! Had I been tallying the months along the way, I would have thrown in those extra 8 miles at some point. Darn.
2012 was the year I pledged to run 500 miles and I topped that goal at 516.4. This past year, I pushed myself even further and while I wasn't training for a race, I was more consistent with my running schedule throughout the year. In 2014, I'm going to work on getting much faster, much better at road running as opposed to the treadmill, and running far more than 600 miles.
I got a new pair of shoes for Christmas that I've needed desperately. I'm ready to hit the ground running.
